Added: Apr 18, 2018 2:30 pm Modified: May 10, 2018 6:48 pmTrack Changes The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) is preparing to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for 8 Emergency Watershed Protection ("EWP") Project Sites throughout Adams County, Mississippi.

The work will consist of installing bank stabilization measures on designated slopes via rock rip rap and grout materials. The major items of work (for all 8 project sites) consist of:

The solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside.


Contractors must be registered in and complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.


A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Sealed Bidding procedures in FAR Part 14.


A bid guarantee, in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid. Sureties should use SF-24 Bid Bond form. The bid guarantee shall be emailed with bid and the apparent low bidder will mail the bid guarantee within 24 hours of request by Contract Specialist.


Performance (SF-25) and Payment (SF-25A) Bonds, in the amounts of 100% of the contract price, will be required within 5 calendar days after award of the contract.


The anticipated period of performance for this project is 91 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
