Contractor will be required to provide all labor, transportation, materials, and applicable coordination with Government on-site project staff to perform modifications to cabins at the Park Unit. This work will consist of construction to cabin porch railing, modifications to and replacement of roof structures, painting of exteriors, construction of screen doors, installation of sump pumps, and installation of water-proof electrical boxes as outlined in the statement of work. This project is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, and the size standard is $36.5 million. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Interested contractors should closely review all solicitation documents. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Midwest Region, NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposals to solicit a construction requirement for Badlands National Park, Interior, SD. This will result in a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract to be awarded to a Prime Contractor in September, 2015.
OVERVIEW: The scope of work includes modifications to Cedar Pass Lodge Cabins located at Badlands National Park, Interior South Dakota. Contractor will be required to provide all labor, transportation, materials, and applicable coordination with Government on-site project staff to perform modifications to cabins at the Park Unit. This work will consist of construction to cabin porch railing, modifications to and replacement of roof structures, painting of exteriors, construction of screen doors, installation of sump pumps, and installation of water-proof electrical boxes as outlined in the statement of work that will be provided with the solicitation.
SET ASIDE and NAICS CODE CLASSIFICATION: This project is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, and the size standard is $36.5 million. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $25,000 and $100,000. WAGES: Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages for Jackson County, South Dakota will apply.
PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation package and its attachments will be issued and available on or about July 28, 2015 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. Applicable Site Visit details will be provided with the solicitation documents that will follow. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
