QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Attachment A asks for previous performance. This RFQ is about the purchase of an item. Do you want us to post a picture of the microscope in the "photo" fields of the attachments? We are a manufacturer of Atomic Force Microscopes and not a service provider to the government. So it is not exactly clear what information we should provide here.

ANSWER: Yes, place a picture of the microscope in the "photo" fields of the RFQ Attachment A, Relevant Experience Data Sheet(s). Product data or specification with the features can be attached as well.

2. The same applies to attachment B. As a manufacturer of tools it is not clear what to fill in here.

ANSWER: RFQ Attachment B, Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) should be sent to your clients. Note on page 8 or 56, G.2, Submittal Requirements, " Vendors should complete and submit with the quotation the first page of the PPQ, which will provide contract and client information for respective projects. The Government may make reasonable e attempts to contract the client noted for that project(s) to obtain the PPQ information."

3. Can a 24-hour extension be granted?

ANSWER: Yes, the closing response date is hereby changed from August 22, 2019, 9:00 AM, Mountain Time to August 23, 2019, 9:00 AM.
