The United States Army Contracting Command- New Jersey- Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Fire Control Systems & Technology Directorate under Weapons & Software Engineering Center (WSEC), DEVCOM Armaments Center (AC) has a requirement for Longbow Apache Software Support for a period of 12 months with three (3) 12-month options.  The requirement is to provide technical support on the aircraft software integration, software test analysis and requirement verification during software test demonstrations in support of the AH-64E Apache programs.  The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement by soliciting, negotiating, and awarding a sole source effort with Decilog, Inc., 555 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY 11747 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. The Justification and Approval cites unacceptable delays to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition.  Decilog, Inc. is a small business, but subcontracting opportunities will be sought to the maximum extent practicable.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is meant to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201, which requires a notice of intent to be posted to the GPE 15 days prior to the release of a solicitation.   The solicitation is expected to be issued in October 2021 directly to Decilog, Inc..
