Added: Jan 12, 2016 11:06 am  One US flagged tug for the Military Sealift Command (MSC) to support Office of Naval Research (ONR) Advanced Mooring System (AMS) at-sea demonstration. The vessel will operate near the Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Coronado both within San Diego Harbor and the Pacific Ocean, within 11 NM of NAB Coronado. Tug will be used to transport a Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC) Single Anchor Leg Mooring Barge (SALM) at and in the vicinity of NAB Coronado to several miles offshore and to remain on station for periods of approximately 8-12 hours duration to warp the SALM alongside a moored Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS) Roll-on / Roll-off Discharge Facility (RRDF).  Operations will take place Monday -Friday from approximately 0700-1700.

The solicitation will be available on www.fbo.com on or about 14 Jan 2016.

Set-aside Status: 100% small business set-aside.

The decision to set aside this procurement as 100% small business set-aside was made resulting from Market Research.
