Aircraft Sunshade Maintenance Services
The 4th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for Aircraft Sunshade Maintenance Services at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina.
The contractor shall provide all, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform Aircraft Sunshade Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair Services installed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC. The contractor shall perform inspections quarterly on 59 aircraft sunshades. The contractor shall inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft sunshades in accordance with the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications, procedures, industry standards, or best practices, and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local building code and regulations, or equivalent military standard Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS) http://www.wbdg.org/ .
The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA4809-16-T-0016. The solicitation will be set aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332311 - Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing. The size standard for NAICS 332311 is 750 employees. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror with an acceptable past performance assessment in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The anticipated period of performance includes one base period of twelve months from 17 Sep 16 - 16 Sep 17, and four subsequent 12-month option periods with a total possible performance period from 17 Sep 16 through 16 Sep 21, if the options are exercised.
