Fy 2018 service contract for preventative maintenance on the shop 31A Agie wire EDM (electric discharge
machine) shall include two (2) maintenance services, cleanings with machine alignments, and replacement of
routine consumable parts.

The unique proprietary configuration of the machine and the proprietary software limits service and maintenance
to manufacture authorized service personnel. The named source is the direct factory service representative for
the manufacturer.

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and IMF, Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, Washington has a requirement for a AGIE EDM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE for the period October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2022.
The Government will award a firm fixed price, reoccurring service contract with no pre-established fixed contract prices. This RFQ is being solicited as other than full and open competition. . The associated NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Product Service Code Class is J034. All vendors submitting a quote shall be registered in the System for Award Management, SAM.gov.
Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote:
1. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number;
2. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and Cage Code or Duns number of the Offeror;
3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration;
4. Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and;
5. Provide a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary.
6. Address technical capability in meeting the requirement per the Statement of Work.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 12:00 P.M. Pacific on October 13, 2017; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to:

The anticipated award date is on or about October 18, 2017. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
