Added: Oct 15, 2015 8:32 am The proposed acquisition covers a requirement for 90 adaption kits, flash blindness NSN 8475-01-075-3585, made in accordance with part number G022-0005-01, CAGE CODE 97427, which will result in a small purchase order. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. The acquisition will be FOB destination with inspection and acceptance at the source. The production lead-time is 150 days after date of award. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror. It is anticipated this solicitation will be posted to the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) on or after 15 October 2015. All offerors MUST be registered in SAM in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit offers which, if timely received, shall be considered.

Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.

Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
