About this opportunity

This notice seeks proposals for two mechanical actuators identified as NSN 7H-3040-015046123 under the current Technical Data Package version 002. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is responsible for the procurement. Proposals will be evaluated with the intent to make a single source award under FAR 6.302-1 to Curtis Wright, the approved current source of supply. Interested parties may submit proposals by December 20, 2021 to be considered for this non-competitive procurement.

There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. The actuators are to be delivered FOB origin with a quantity of two each. As the government does not own the technical data rights or drawings for this part, reverse engineering would be uneconomical, and it has been deemed impractical to purchase the data from additional sources. Curtis Wright, CAGE code 04808, is the only approved source provided they comply with clauses DLATERMHZ01 and DLATERMHZ03 in section H of the solicitation as any distributor to the original equipment manufacturer.
