About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is soliciting quotations for electro-mechanical actuators under Request for Quotation SPRTA1-26-Q-0245. The requirement is for four units of a specific electro-mechanical actuator (NSN 1680-01-131-0902 RK, Manufacturer Part Number 00268 8067-4A) that convert rotary action to linear motion and are constructed of steel and aluminum. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100 standards or equivalent certifications as of July 21, 2023, and must maintain offered prices firm for 120 days. The solicitation is issued on a firm fixed-price basis with quotations due by April 10, 2026, and delivery required by June 1, 2026. The procurement will be evaluated based on compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and pricing, though specific evaluation weightings are not detailed in the available materials.
This is not designated as a small business set-aside, and no incumbent contractor information is provided. The estimated contract value is below the simplified acquisition threshold, which is why the synopsis requirement has been waived. The requirement specifies delivery to DEG005, a Foreign Military Sales destination for Egypt (case EG-D-RAK), and inspection and acceptance will occur at origin. The applicable NAICS code is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Units priced above $5,000 each will require Unique Identification marking per DFARS 252.211-7003, and early or partial delivery is acceptable at no additional cost to the government.
