Update #2 · Latest ·

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to Huntron, Inc., Mill Creek, WA (CAGE: 57705) to procure (1) Access Dual Head Prober with Tracker P/N 99-0431. Huntron, Inc. is the only known source for this specific type of automated capability and the Access Dual Head Prober with Tracker has commonality to its sister systems which are already supporting Naval Aviation repair. This commonality of like systems will allow for smoother transition from existing manual probing to this automated version. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract.
