MODIFICATION TO CORRECT UNITS FOR SOME OF THE LINE ITEMS.
LINE ITEMS IDENTIFIED ON ATTACHMENT ALONG WITH THE CORRECTED SOLICITATION FORM.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Petersburg, Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQP01141300020 for the requirements of 4TH QUARTER SUBSISTENCE ITEMS FOR FY2013. This solicitation is FOB Destination and 100% set aside for small business. The food items will need to be delivered by July 1, 2013 and no later than July 15, 2013 to FCC Petersburg (Warehouse), 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, by group of items, or by aggregate, whichever is advantageous to the government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that is considered to be the best overall value to the Government, in regards to price, delivery and past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 15, 2013, and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. All quotes must be received no later than June 7, 2013, 2:00p.m. (eastern standard time). The Government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Each offer is required to complete their presentations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). The System for Award Management (SAM) is online. SAM replaces the CCR system. The website for SAM is www.sam.gov. The point of contact for all information regarding this solicitation is Virginia Grisham, Contract Specialist, phone number (804) 504-7200. Complete offers may be sent via postal mail, FEDEX, or UPS to FCC Petersburg, 1100 River Road (Attention: Virginia Grisham, Contract Specialist), Hopewell, Virginia 23860.
