***Amendment 001**
The purpose of this amendment is to include an amended combined synopsis/solicitation, and answer the follwoing vendor questions:
1. When do you think awards will be issued? FEMA intends to issue awards as soon as possible after the closing of the solicitation.
2. Can we send a spreadsheet for the campers being offered with the manufacturers URL link for the floorplan and specifications or do they need to be sent as a PDF? PDF Format is required for the Floorplan and Specifications.
3. On the smaller units (sleeps 2 or fewer): Can “bunkhouse” models be proposed, if the curtain is removed from the bunkhouse that would allow it to be used as storage? The vendor has expressed some difficulty locating units of this size that don’t have a bunk set up in the rear (with a queen/king up front) They can have the bunk setup for the rear room but should not remove the curtain
4. On the smaller units (sleeps 2 or fewer): Can the requirement for 2 30lb propane tanks be waived? Typically, industry standard for units in that size is either 1 30lb tank or 2 20lb tanks.Yes, 2 20lb tanks or 1 30lb tank is acceptable for the units sleeping 2 or fewer.
5. Can the requirement for a fully enclosed underbelly on these units (all sizes) be waived? Yes.
Additionally, the due date/time for proosals has been corrected on the SAM.gov posting to reflect the time and date in the combined synopsis/solicitation, 5:00pm January, 25, 2022.
