The USGS-Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center has a requirement for the lease of an Applied Acoustic Engineering (AAE) Easytrak Nexus 2 Ultra-Short Baseline (USBL) acoustic positioning system with high-powered directional beacons to support a research effort aboard the University of Delaware R/V Hugh Sharp to collect geologic and biologic samples from the Atlantic methane seeps, survey for methane seeps, and acquire seafloor imagery and bathymetry. The USBL acoustic positioning system is required to navigate a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) that will be used to collect biologic and geologic samples and seafloor bathymetry. Deliver to be made to Woods Hole, MA; by 5/1/17.
There are no option periods.
