Text6: A previous contract, W91ZRU-19-P-5000, was awarded to repair earthquake damage in December 2018. Work is still on-going in the hangar bays. The majority of the work for the current requirement is located in the hangar bays. It is in the best interest of the Government to award a sole source to the same contractor already working in the immediate area to avoid scheduling conflicts, questions as to contractor liability, and to alleviate potential mission stoppages.
Text7: Future work in Hangar 21 will be competed.
Text8: There are many contractors in the area of JBER, AK, who could perform this requirement. It is not customary to award contracts to multiple contractors working in the immediate area of one another.
Text9: F-E Contracting, Inc.
