Questions and Answers
1. Does the Government prefer all 100 delivered at once or have them delivered in batches?
The Government would like all Air Transport Magazines to be delivered together.
2. I saw the requirement may be split into 50 and 50. Would this be easier if I quoted the quantity as 50?
No. Please provide a quote for the full quantity of 100. The reason for potentially splitting the CLIN structure qty. 50 and qty. 50 is because this requirement supports two different FMS Cases and 50 magazines have one requisition number and the other 50 have a different requisition number.
3. What timeline does the Government want for these to be delivered?
The Government is looking for these magazines to be delivered as soon as possible.
4. We offer a zinc rich primer that is designed for marine environments: Zinc-rich 302 primer undercoat for marine environments. Standard Urethane 349 overcoat included Certified as C5M grade coating per ISO 12944.
We apply this to any item being shipped overseas, unless specifically asked not to by the end user. It is priced per sq. ft. Is it okay to include this cost in our proposal.
In accordance with the solicitation, it is not a requirement to provide the zinc rich primer to be found technically acceptable. You may choose to provide this cost as an option that the Government will evaluate. If proposing a cost for this, please ensure that it is identified on your quote as a separate line item.
