See above regarding upgrade assurance. Upgrade assurance only applied to the system audiometer per market research.
Statement of Work
1 5 Microprocessor audiometer (MA) requirements are as follows:
<delete> …and be certified by Microsoft Agree, this can be deleted. SOW revised to reflect change.
Statement of Work
2 6 “MA shall be able to be stacked and interconnect in groups of up to eight”
Does the ARNG really want this? It adds costs and is no longer the way sound booths are laid out.
NGB‐CSG does not need them to be stacked, just need capabilities to link audiometers together through daisy chain. The requested audiometers are capable of doing this. SOW revised to reflect change.
Statement of Work
2) e. 6
• “All equipment shall conform to the National Electric Code (ANSI/NFPA 70‐current version), the National Electric Safety Code (C2‐current version)… (FCC) regulations…(ANSI) S3.6 Current Version”
• FCC: No wireless/RF communication
• ANSI S3.6:
• As a medical instrument the requested equipment complies with FDA‐based regulations and not the FCC. While they are similar this equipment tests for one not the other.
• The requested equipment complies with ANSI S3.6‐1989 to keep the entire military set of instruments interchangeable.
Acknowledged. This is acceptable.
Statement of Work
2) g. 6 “All internal MA software (firmware) shall be software upgradeable through the GFE”
There is not a process for distributing firmware updates
Any updates necessary will be handled by NMCPHC. SOW revised to reflect change.
Statement of Work
3) g. 7 “Interstimulus Interval: There shall be random…” The intervals are not random but they do vary. This is acceptable. SOW revised to reflect change.
Statement of Work
4) f. 8 “f. There is no validation of the HTLs at three frequencies”
We are uncertain about this. What do you mean?
If the person did validate their HTL 3 times in one frequency after multiple attempts, and error code will be produce and a HTL will not be logged until the listener can correctly identify a sound level at a certain HTL 3 times.
Statement of Work
8 8 “The MA circuit board must be removable for ease in calibrating”
The circuit board is removable, but it does not need to be removed. Calibration is easier if it left in place.
This is acceptable.
Statement of Work
9 9 “Entry into the calibration mode is to be limited with password protection, and not requiring a hardware device”
• Our understanding is that this is controlled by
DOEHRS.
• The structure is there to support different
Correct, the audiometer needs to integrate DOEHRS Software
Statement of Work
Security Requirements
“The contractor will ensure that equipment meets the security and software compatibility requirements as mandated by the DoD and ARNG and outline in the DA Pam 40‐501”
The Benson software used in DOEHRS‐HC systems is sent by Benson to a designated DOD team and integrated with GOTS by DOD and distributed to all usage sites by DOD.
NGB‐CSG: The audiometer needs to have capabilities to meet software requirement
Statement of Work
Appendix I: System Specifications
12 “Memory Backup Battery: Panasonic BR2032” This is no battery in the CCA‐200mini.
Understood, not necessary. SOW revised to reflect change.
