W9132T-17-R-0004 Q&A

Paragraph/Section C.I.

What is the maximum power draw?

-No maximum, but as efficient as reasonable. The awardee will design this subsystem.

Paragraph/Section C.II.

What is the maximum power draw?

- No maximum is determined for the entire system, but as efficient as reasonable.

Power consumption is only known for parts of two of the subsystems.

The ANMBR subsystem has incoming power requirements of 230 V, 3 phase, 60 Amps.

The Ion Exchange subsystem will be designed by the awardee, and power consumption is unknown.

For the Ammonia Electrolysis subsystem each of the 12 cells will require .925 VDC, all other controls and parts will be designed by the awardee so total power consumption is unknown.

Paragraph/Section C.II.1 What is the maximum allowable enclosure size for the System Container?

-There is no maximum enclosure size except those imposed by the need to be shippable via standard semi-trailer over roadways and forklift transportable on site.

Paragraph/Section C.II.2.a What are the overall dimensions of the AnMBR subsystem?

-85" L x 52" W x 90" H

Paragraph/Section C.II.3.a Is the Ion Exchange sub-system GFE? It is listed as "existing".

- The "existing" ion exchange sub-system referenced in section C.II.3.a refers to the ion exchange system built in C.I.Basic (Funded) - Ion Exchange System. It is not considered GFE.

Paragraph/Section C.II.7.f Is there a preferred software/platform for remote access log-in and monitoring?

-No.

Paragraph/Section C.III.

What is the existing control architecture of the GFE?

-Operation of the system is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC, AB 1747-SLC5/03, Allen-Bradley Company Inc., Milwaukee, WI). Operational settings were set through a PC that interfaced with the PLC using a Visual Basic program. Data was acquired through the same interface. Details of the operational interface are provided in the attached.

Paragraph/Section C.III.

What is the maximum power draw?

- No maximum, but as efficient as reasonable. The awardee will design this subsystem.
