Q: Moving forward, do you have a site visit planned to determine mounting requirements for the two X wing Antennas and take measurements?
A: Yes, I can schedule a vendor meeting so all vendors can visit all the sites if needed.
X-Wing antenna can be mounted to tower or HF mast system, the antenna will need a clear view of S-SW skyline. Most mast X-Wing mounts have two take-off angles, one for "near equator) and the other for "northern distances". We will use northern distances or lower angle setting.
Q: Please clarify with the installation of two radio sites, why are there a quantity of four for the ITEM NO 0006 "Antennas 135-225 6dB Gain" and ITEM NO 0007 "Single Dipole Antenna 30-76 MHz". Are we keeping spares at each site or do we just need two each.
A: Item #6. There are three sites total. One for each repeater site with fixed frequencies (Passadumkeag Tx: 139.0125Mhz ; Musquash Tx: 139.9625) and two base stations located at JFHQ "Joint Forces HeadQuarters" (one located in JOC"Joint Operations Center" radio room and one in commo ready, radio room.
Item #7. There are three sites total. One for each repeater site with fixed frequencies (Passadumkeag TX: 41.200Mhz; Musquash Tx: 36.200Mhz) and two base stations at JFHQ (one located in JOC radio room and one in commo ready radio room.(Both Tx 41.200Mhz)
