The following have been modified:

STATEMENT OF WORK

Compact Track Loader/Multi Terrain Loader for Lac Qui Parle Project Site The contractor shall supply a newly manufactured compact track loader/multi terrain loader, all specified attachments, and deliver all items to Lac Qui Parle Project Office, Watson, Minnesota.

This equipment will be used year-round for a variety of tasks at a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dam, recreation, and day use areas. It will be used for a wide variety of tasks, including clearing snow, mowing brush, debris removal, unloading flatbed trucks, moving logs, digging postholes, and dam repair work. Because it is operating on sensitive terrain, such as waterlogged soil, dike slopes and campsites, it is critical that this loader have wide rubber tracks and exert minimal ground pressure. The track lug pattern should be of such for maximum traction in all weather conditions.

Service Availability The Compact Track Loader/Multi Terrain Loader must be of a type that can be serviced by manufacturer authorized service providers in the Watson / Montevideo Area. Contractors shall be prepared to supply the contact information for a manufacturer authorized service provider with a service location within 60 miles of the Lac Qui Parle Project office.

Trade In The contracted vendor will accept a Bobcat compact track loader, with general purpose bucket attachment (listed below) as a trade-in.

Contractor is responsible for loading and transportation of trade-in equipment.

Delivery Delivery will be made FOB: Destination (Lac Qui Parle Project Office).

Delivery will be accepted between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday – Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Please contact J Mark Nesvig, Section Supervisor, (651-290-5099), JMark.O.Nesvig@usace.army.mil) at least one full business day in advance of delivery.

Specifications The Compact Track Loader/Multi Terrain Loader, and attachments shall meet or exceed the following salient characteristics:

Compact Track Loader/Multi Terrain Loader

The loader must be of a type supported by a manufacturer authorized service provider Rated operating capacity: At 35% tipping load, at least 3,100 lb. At 50% tipping load, at least 4,400 lb.

Tipping load: Not less than 9000 lb.

Travel Speed – 2 speed, High Speed min. 8.0 mph Diesel engine, 90 HP (gross power) or greater High Flow Hydraulics Dual direction self-leveling Enclosed Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) cab At a minimum Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS) level 1, with polycarbonate door, heater, defroster and A/C.

Debris Barrier Protection and Turbo Debris Guard kits (Mesh guards to engine protect air intake, exhaust manifold, turbocharger (if present) and critical parts from debris) Radio, AM/FM.

Rearview/Backup Camera with LCD display (may be aftermarket dealer-installed) Battery, extra heavy duty Quick Coupler for work tool attachment (Operator must be able to attach/remove work tools without exiting cab) Block Heater, engine coolant, 120V Machine Tie-Down Points: at least 4 Cold operation hydraulic oil Hydrostatic transmission Horn Backup alarm and flashing light beacon Control Interlock System: When operator leaves seat or armrest raised; hydraulic system disables, hydrostatic transmission disables, and parking brake engages.

Ride Control Rubber tracks – at least 16” wide Tracks shall exert no more than 5 psi ground pressure Hydraulic and electrical must be compatible with the following attachments o Angle broom – Year: 2016, Model: 84 ANGLE BROOM, Serial number: 231422084 o Dozer blade – Year: 1998, Model: Palm Mfg. Attachments/Work Tools Work Tool: Bucket – General Purpose, Approx. 84”

At least .75 CYD Actual width of bucket may vary +/- 4” Shall include bolt-on cutting edge, 1-piece.

Trade-in Equipment

The contractor shall pick up the following trade-in equipment from Lac qui Parle Project Office:

2012 Bobcat T770, S/N: A3P811708, 1,704 hours 79” Wide General Purpose Bucket Only major repairs were rebuild of bucket tilt cylinders in 2019 (performed by dealership)
