The following have been modified:

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. SCOPE

The contractor shall supply and deliver two (2) new commercial dive helmets to Lock & Dam 3 in Welch, MN.

2. NEEDS DESCRIPTION

The helmets will be used for dive team operations at the project sites. Dive team operations include cold weather operations and dives in water with potential biological contaminants.

3. SPECIFICATIONS

The two (2) helmets shall be Name Brand Kirby Morgan KM37 Helmets OR EQUAL, with the following salient characteristics:

- New Manufacture – Used or Reconditioned Helmets are Not Acceptable

- Open Circuit type Commercial Dive Helmet

- Weight: Not to exceed 35 lbs

- Helmet Shell: Fiberglass composite

- Face Port/Lens: Scratch Resistant Polycarbonate

- Neck Dam: Neoprene – Size Large (14”-16”) (Kirby Morgan P/N 510-629 Or Equal)

- O-rings: Nitrile Rubber (Buna-N)

- Helmet shall be factory lubricated

- CR Standards: Helmets shall meet or exceed all standards established by Dive Lab of Panama City, Florida, and be CR (Commercially Rated) marked.

- Male Water Proof (Mash Marine) Communications connection

Each Helmet shall be equipped with a Hot Water Shroud, to be used when dives are conducted in extreme cold conditions. The shroud shall be of the side block type, compatible with the helmet supplied. Installation shall be performed with basic hand tools (screwdriver and torque wrench), and shall not require drilling or permanent modification of the helmet.

5. DELIVERY DUE DATE

The helmets with shrouds shall be delivered on or before 02 January 2018.

6. SHIPMENT

Offer price shall be quoted FOB Destination. Please do not quote shipping charges separately. Shipment shall be prepaid and made at the Contractor's expense.

The Contractor shall notify the government of the shipment at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date.

Delivery shall be between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. CST Monday thru Friday, except on Government holidays. Any delivery arriving after 3:00 P.M. will not be accepted by Government personnel until the next work period as designated above.
