Ice Harbor Lifting Devices Load Testing W912EF18Q0089

1.5 LOADING AND UNLOADING LIFTNG BEAM AND BRACKETS

Lifting Devices shall be returned to the project no later than June 21, 2018.

Government responsibility:

Government will load and unload the lifting devices on the Contractors transporting vehicle(s).

Contractor responsibility:

Providing all tie downs required for transporting the lifting devices.

Securing the lifting devices to the transport vehicle(s)

Loading and transporting the lifting devices back to Ice Harbor Dam.

1.5.1 Electronic Submittals

Each submittal shall be sent in PDF format via e-mail to the transmittal mailbox for the Lower Snake River Resident Office:

Address submittals to Luke Groom.

Submittal files too large to send via e-mail shall be submitted using the AMRDEC Safe Access File Exchange (SAFE) website at:

https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/SAFE/

When asked to "provide an email to provide access to", enter the Lower Snake River Resident Office transmittal e-mail address.

1.6 SECURITY

The Project site is a secured area and access onto the Project is restricted. The security measures affect all of the Contractor's vehicles and personnel. There will be delays when entering Projects due to locked gates, vehicle inspections, and personnel checks. Inspections and checks may include inspection of tool boxes, brief cases, lunch boxes, and other containers.

1.6.1 Access And General Protection/Security Policy And Procedures

All contractor employees, including all associated sub-contractor employees, shall comply with all applicable facility access and security policies and procedures. Local facility policies and procedures will be provided by a government representative.
