TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Lower Monumental Project

LED High Bay Lighting Fixtures, Wall Plates, Safety Hooks, Power Cords and Receptacles

1.0 INTENT

The following specifications pertain to the purchase of LED High Bay Lighting Fixtures, Wall Plates, Safety Hooks, Power Cords and Receptacles to be used at Lower Monumental Lock and Dam located in the Walla Walla District.

2.0 SCOPE

The successful bidder shall be required to deliver ninety three (93) LED High Bay Lighting Fixtures, Wall Plates, Safety Hooks, Power Cords and Receptacles. This items shall be delivered to Lower Monumental Lock and Dam by the date shown in Section Shipment and Delivery. The successful bidder shall also provide other items as stated in the specifications.

3.1 LED HIGH BAY LIGHTING FIXTURES

The LED High Bay Lighting Fixtures shall be Holophane brand, series PHZL, or an engineer approved equal.

The fixtures shall be designed as a self-contained unit and shall be supplied to the following specs and options:

a. Input Voltage shall be 480VAC, 60 Hz.

b. Lumens - 70,000 nominal lumens

c. Color Temperature - 4000K

d. Color Rendering Index - 70CRI

e. Mounting - Pendant, Connected f.

Exterior Finish - White

g. Optics - Glass, Wide Dispersion Angle

4.1 LIGHTING RECEPTACLES

The lighting receptacles shall be Holophane brand, catalog #HBL2340, or an engineer approved equal. The receptacles shall meet the following specifications:

a. 20 amp

b. 480Vac

c. NEMA configuration, LS - 20R

d. Receptacle color, Black

5.1 WALL PLATES

The wall plates shall be Holophane brand, catalog #SS720 , or an engineer approved equal. The wall plates shall meet the following specifications:

a. Stainless steel

b. Plate size, standard size

c. Appearance, slightly beveled, matte finish

d. UL listed E92074

6.1 SAFETY HOOKS

The safety hooks shall be Holophane brand, catalog #PF- 122-A, or an engineer approved equal. The safety hooks shall meet the following specifications:

a. % inch

b. Female threads

c. Half loop with set screw

7.1 POWER CORDS

The power cords shall be Holophane brand, catalog #CDP-LS-20-10 #CDP-L8-20-10, or an engineer approved equal. The power cords shall meet the following specifications:

a. 480V

b. 10 foot in length

c. 480V plug, connected and matched to lighting receptacle (above)

8.0 SUBMITTALS

Before acceptance of "or approved equal" bids, submittals must be approved by project electrical engineer (see point of contact information below). Submittals shall include copy of manufactures catalog cuts, drawings, specification sheets, and any pertinent data that supports the contractor's proposed variations.

9.0 WARRANTY

Each part provided by the contractor shall be covered by a minimum one-year warranty on all parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects.

10.0 SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY

All items shall be delivered FOB to Lower Monumental Lock and Dam within 1O weeks of contract award. The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Lower Monumental Lock and Dam. No shipments are allowed other than during normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 7:30AM- 4:00PM, excluding federal holidays.

(d) Comptroller General Examination of Record. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of this paragraph

(d) if this contract was awarded using other than sealed bid, is in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold, and does not contain the clause at 52.215-2, Audit and Records--Negotiation.

(1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract.

(2) The Contractor shall make available at its offices at all reasonable times the records, materials, and other evidence for examination, audit, or reproduction, until 3 years after final payment under this contract or for any shorter period specified in FAR Subpart 4.7, Contractor Records Retention, of the other clauses of this contract. If this contract is completely or partially terminated, the records relating to the work terminated shall be made available for 3 years after any resulting final termination settlement. Records relating to appeals under the disputes clause or to litigation or the settlement of claims arising under or relating to this contract shall be made available until such appeals, litigation, or claims are finally resolved.

(3) As used in this clause, records include books, documents, accounting procedures and practices, and other data, regardless of type and regardless of form.
