The purpose of this amendment is as follow s:

1. Add seating rings (as highlighted) to the PWS

2. Answ er contractors question. - Question - Who is designing and supplying the draft tube and it’s attachment to the face of the dam, and w ho is providing the seat rings for the pumps? Answ er - The "draft tube" is simply the standard pipe that the pump sits in and w ill be supplied by the installation contractor. The pump manufacturer w ill supply the seat rings to the contractor that gets the installation contract.

3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

SCOPE

Contractor shall furnish and deliver two (2) new cooling pumps and motors to Little Goose Dam. The contractor shall also provide Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals. The new cooling pump and motors shall be covered under a one year warranty for material and workmanship. Contractor shall also supply all the necessary power and control cables (50 foot length), sensor modules and protection modules and seating rings as recommended/supplied by the pump manufacturer.

PUMP SPECIFICATIONS

The pumps shall be a Grundfos KWM.40”.265.10.T.60.M.46 or approved equal. The pump shall be a fully submersible axial/mixed flow pump and designed for vertical tube/pipe installation. The pump shall be capable of delivering a minimum of 25,000 GPM at 27 feet of total dynamic head.

All cast parts such as the suction and discharge casing, stator/motor housing and bearing bracket covers shall be ASTM A48-CL35. Cast parts exposed to water shall have a minimum protective paint coating of 300 µm.

Impeller and wear ring shall be constructed from Duplex Stainless Steel Grade 1A. The impeller shall be free from defects and must be accurately cast, machined, and filed for optimum performance and minimum vibration. Impeller shall utilize self-cleaning hydraulics to reduce risk of clogging or jamming.

Pump/motor shaft shall be constructed of ASTM A276-410 stainless steel. It shall be precision ground and polished.

Shaft shall have a SIC/SIC double mechanical shaft seal.

Main bearings shall be angular contact ball bearings with angle ring with support bearings being a single-row deep groove ball bearing and roller bearing. Bearings shall be greased for life, have a 60,000hr life and include thermal and water sensors.

The motor shall be a squirrel cage induction type, NEMA Design B with Class H insulation and an IP-68 enclosure.

The motor full-load amps shall be 375 or less. The motor shall be at least 90% efficient and have 1.15 service factor. It shall be VFD compatible and be suitable for operation using 3 phase, 480 V, 60 Hz service. Motor housing shall include moisture sensor, stator thermal sensor, and bearing thermal sensor. Sensors shall communicate with a protection module which stops the motor if a sensor detects a fault.

Power and control cables shall be separate to permit termination on different receptacles.

SCHEDULE

Delivery of the pumps shall be no later than 26 May 2017. Delivery of the motor protection module shall be no later than 1 May 2017. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government Personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment.

Normal working hours at Little Goose Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The delivery shall arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during normal working days. This is to allow for unloading and inspection.

The delivery shall be made to the south side of the dam. Delivery address is as follows:

Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment.

The technical point of contact at site shall be Amanda Collins, Mechanical Engineer -509-399-2233, ext. 258.

ANTITERRORISM AND OPERATIONS SECURITY PROVISIONS

All contractor and all associated sub-contractors employees shall comply with applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures (provided by government representative). The contractor shall also provide all information required for background checks to meet installation/facility access requirements to be accomplished by installation Provost Marshal Office, Director of Emergency Services or Security Office. Contractor workforce must comply with all personal identity verification requirements (FAR clause 52.204-9, Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel) as directed by DOD, HQDA and/or local policy. In addition to the changes otherwise authorized by the changes clause of this contract, should the Force Protection Condition (FPCON) at any installation or facility change, the Government may require changes in contractor security matters or processes.

Contractor and all associated sub-contractors employees shall comply with adjudication standards and procedures using the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification Index (NCIC-III) and Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) (Army Directive 2014-05/AR 190-13), applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures (provided by government representative, as NCIC and TSDB are available), or, at OCONUS locations, in accordance with status of forces agreements and other theater regulations.

All contract employees, including subcontractor employees who are not in possession of the appropriate security clearance or access privileges, will be escorted in areas where they may be exposed to classified and/or sensitive materials and/or sensitive or restricted areas.

The Contractor must pre-screen Candidates using the E-verify Program (http://www.uscis.gov/e-verify) website to meet the established employment eligibility requirements. The Vendor must ensure that the Candidate has two valid forms of Government issued identification prior to enrollment to ensure the correct information is entered into the E-verify system. An initial list of verified/eligible Candidates must be provided to the COR no later than 3 business days after the initial contract award.

In addition to complying with the requirements outlined in FAR Part 22.13, FAR Provision 52.222-38, FAR Clause 52.222-35, FAR Clause 52.222-37, DFARS 222.13 and Department of Labor regulations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) contractors and subcontractors at all tiers are encouraged to promote the training and employment of U.S. veterans while performing under a USACE contract. While no set-aside, evaluation preference, or incentive applies to the solicitation or performance under the resultant contract, USACE contractors are encouraged to seek out highly qualified veterans to perform services under this contract. O & M MANUALS

Contractor shall furnish three copies of Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, complete with recommended periodic maintenance schedules. The manuals shall include engineering data, pump curves, NPSHR, and a detailed parts list. The delivery of the manuals shall occur with the product delivery.

WARRANTY

Each unit shall be covered by a materials and workmanship warranty for a period of no less than one year from completion of installation.
