DWORSHAK ROAD GRADER
1.0 INTENT
The following specifications pertain to the purchase of a new road grader for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Dworshak Project, Ahsahka, Idaho.
2.0 SCOPE
The successful quoter shall be required to deliver a new road grader meeting the specifications herein to Dworshak project by the date shown in Section 6.0 of this Technical Specification. The Contractor shall also provide equipment documentation, training, and other items as stated herein. Authorized maintenance for warranty period and beyond must be available within 100 miles of Dworshak Project.
3.0 ROAD GRADER REQUIREMENTS
3.1 General
Shall be a John Deere 772G, or equal, meeting the minimum specifications herein.
Shall be new, with 50 hours or less on the machine from the factory for testing and transportation to the
Project.
Shall comply with all safety requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health
Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1, dated 15 September 2008. The safety manual can be accessed via the Internet at: http://www.publications.usace.army.mil/Portals/76/Publications/EngineerManuals/EM_385-1- 1_2008Sep_Consolidated_2011Aug.pdf.
Cold weather package, including manufacture’s standard electric engine block heater, ether starting aid and cold weather control valve covers.

4.0 SUBMITTALS
4.1 Pre-award Submittals
The offeror shall submit with their quote one copy each of the following documents for review by the acquiring activity. Electronic documents are preferred.
Specification sheets O&M Manuals Names and locations of local dealers able to perform non-standard repair; and Names and contact information for authorized maintenance/repair facilities within 150 miles of Dworshak Project.
Warranty information
4.2 Delivery Submittals
The Contractor shall provide the following minimum documentation with delivery of the Road Grader.
Not fewer than two copies of the Operations & Maintenance Manual, in English. One copy may be electronic.
Not fewer than two copies of the parts book/manual, in English. One copy may be electronic.
Any other available manufacturer documentation, including instructions, safety manuals, ANSI specifications, etc.
Names and contact information for authorized maintenance/repair facilities within 100 150 miles of Dworshak Project.
Warranty and registration information.
5.0 TRAINING
Within two weeks of delivery of the Road Grader, the Contractor shall provide a factory-authorized service technician who will provide a minimum two-hour hands-on training of the recommended operation and installation of machine attachments and work tools. The training shall be conducted at Dworshak Project for a class of approximately five people. At a minimum, draft copies of the O&M Manuals shall be provided for each attendee during the training.
6.0 DELIVERY AND SETUP
All items shall be delivered FOB Destination to Dworshak Project on or before September 15, 2016. The Contractor shall be responsible for shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Dworshak Project. The Contractor shall unload, set the Road Grader up for operation, and ensure that all fluids are filled to their maximum operating levels. Deliveries shall only be accepted during normal Dworshak Project business hours, Monday–Thursday 6:30AM–5:00PM, excluding federal holidays.
