Misc. Concrete Repairs – Pre bid Questions

1. Do all 6” slabs receive rebar or just the O&M building floor?

Just the O&M building

2. The scope of work states that 4” slabs are to be placed with fiber. The first sheet in the drawings provided (no sheet number) appears to be the 3EA dumpster pads. The detail shows 4” slab w/ 6”x6” wire mesh. Is it intended to have both wire mesh and fiber in these pads?

Just wire mesh.

3. When is it anticipated that this work will take place?

This spring.

4. Can we use onsite restrooms?

Yes

5. Will the campgrounds be open during work?

Depending on when the work would begin, if after memorial day, yes they will be open

6. It appears there may be missing drawings. The set provided starts with a sheet “3 of 3” then to a “2 of 3”. It seems that sheet “1 of 3” is missing. Then it appears there is a different drawing set with a sheet “2 of 3” then a sheet “1 of 3”. It seems like drawing “3 of 3” is missing for this set. Please advise.

There are 3 drawings, 1. Location plan, 2. Over look shelter sidewalk plan, 3. 3, Dumster plan. I see there appears to be 2 – 2 of 3 plans, one overlook, the other is the maintenance building floor, so there are 4 total.

7. Will the site visit sign in sheet be provided?

Site visit was a week ago.

8. Please confirm that the dirt/gravel being removed from O&M Building floor (approx..111CY) can be disposed of onsite just south of the building.

Yes it can

9. Will the remainder of the grass/dirt/rocks that is excavated at other project locations be able to be disposed of onsite? Or will it need to be hauled off?

Needs to be hauled off.

10. Is the “maintenance cold storage building” the same as “O&M building floor”? It appears they are but the SOW states O&M building floor while the drawing state Maintenance Cold Storage Building. They are the same building.
