The asphalt along the total edge of this entire parking surface should be level with equal and the required amount of thickness needed to install and attach a curb and gutter. 4.1.3 The Contractor shall repair/fill all existing holes and eroded land areas by compacting with gravel/rock and top soil as needed. The entire area should then be excavated to make an evenly smooth sloped surface. Consideration and preparation must also be made during this process for the addition of several concave/oval shaped gutters that will run down and adjacent to the slope of this area to handle storm water runoff from the POV parking area to the site’s existing drainage system. (The existing rocks in this area may be moved and used as needed)
4.2 Detail Work

They should be recessed into the earth and extended down the sloped area approximately 20 ft. to the center of this area as shown on drawings. (Please see the pictures of the proposed/similar design type of gutters to be used)
4.2.3 The Contractor shall provide and install an additional new Concave/Oval shaped Gutter that is larger in size and greater in capacity that will run parallel to the POV parking area and connect adjacently to the other 3 to 4 gutters as shown on the drawings. This gutter should be recessed into the earth and will carry the flow of storm water to the existing drainage system’s headwall and culvert. (Please see the pictures of the proposed/similar design type of gutters to be used)
4.2.4 The Contractor shall provide and install an approved type of Gravel/Rock to the sloped area surrounding the headwall and culvert. The gravel/rock should be applied at the suitable amount needed and in a manner to prevent future erosion within this area. (Please see the attached pictures that refer to this existing area)
