18/26/22 11:34The contractor will need to transport equipment and materials across the East Fork Road bridge located just off Route WV 37. This bridge has a posted weight restriction of 15 tons. Since conventional paving equipment and asphalt dump trucks are in excess of 15 tons, will this restriction be temporarily waived to allow the construction traffic? The plan sheet CS101 of the plans and page 115/150 of the specifications have notes about the bridge weight restrictions. This restriction will not be waived. Appropriate trucking and equipment trailers will have to be utilized to accommodate the lighter load limits associated with the bridge weight restrictions.
