STATEMENT OF WORK (REV 1)

DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS

SUBMERSIBLE DEWATERING PUMPS

SCOPE OF WORK

SW-1 Description of Work Revised 21 Apr 2020

1. The scope of work consists of the contractor/vendor supplying and delivering six (6) each submersible dewatering, sustainable pumps. Additional required parts as set forth within this scope of work shall be installed and tested for proper operation and completeness prior to delivery.

2. The Contract duration for delivery for the submersible, dewatering, sustainable pumps shall be no longer than 4 weeks from the date of contract award. Contractor shall provide the following:

a. Three (3) new, 8 inch discharge diameter, submersible wide base dewatering pumps, 460 volts, with control panel, and 100 foot cord minimum. These pumps shall be capable of pumping, sustaining, and discharging at a height of between 65ft. and 125ft. of head. Pumps should be capable of sustaining, at a minimum, 18-20 GPM (Gallons per minute) at a head of 100 - 120 feet.

Discharge outlet shall be located on top of pump and pump base diameter shall be no smaller than 28” in diameter. Pump diffuser, impeller blade and suction head shall be manufactured and equipped using ASTM grade 80-60-03 ductile cast iron.

b. Three (3) new, 6 inch discharge diameter, submersible dewatering pumps, 460 volts, with control panel, and 100 foot of power control cable, minimum. These pumps shall be capable of pumping, sustaining, and discharging at a height of between 65ft. and 125ft. of head. Pumps should be capable of sustaining, at a minimum 10 -11 GPM (Gallons per minute) at a head of 70 - 80 feet.

Discharge outlet shall be located on top of pump and pump base diameter shall be no smaller than 23.25” in diameter. Pump diffuser, impeller blade and suction head shall be manufactured and equipped using ASTM grade 80-60-03 ductile cast iron.

3. Contractor shall ensure that all six (6) pumps, which require 100 ft. of power control cable minimum, is rated for 460 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz installed/connected upon delivery.

4. Contractor shall ensure that on each pump, a flanged discharge head is installed. There shall be a total of three 8 inch flanged discharge heads, one installed on each of the 8 inch pumps, and three 6 inch flanged discharge heads, one installed on each of the 6 inch pumps.

5. Each pump shall be equipped with a separate NEMA Type 3R Rainproof Control Box, equal or equivalent to, which provides on/off switching, circuit breakers and motor overload protection.

SW-2 Contractor’s Testing and Supply

1. Upon completion of pump assembly with all required components listed in SW-1, the contractor/vendor shall conduct pre-start inspections, startup and load testing to be conducted in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and specifications at their facility prior to delivery. Once pre-start inspections, W9123720Q0045 startup, and load testing is completed and meets the manufacturer’s requirements and specs, the contractor/vendor shall provide all testing documentation, and testing results to the LCF Chief within five

(5) working days of testing, and prior to delivery.

SW-3 Contract Duration

1. The Contract duration for the submersible dewatering pumps which includes but is not limited to;

procurement, assembly, pre-start inspections, startup, load testing, and delivery shall be no longer than 4 weeks from the date of contract award.

SW-4 Quality Assurance/Quality Control

1. If any of the required equipment, associated parts and/or materials arrive onsite at time of delivery and any damage is present, mechanical defects, inoperable parts, or failed components which makes the equipment nonoperational, in as they were designed and/or for their intended uses equipment will not be accepted/received.

2. The Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality control system to assure compliance with the requirements of these specifications and shall maintain records of quality control of all operations listed herein.

SW-5 Warranty

1. All submersible dewatering pumps, machinery and associated parts shall be warranted by the manufacturer from the date received by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The warranty shall cover defective materials, design and workmanship. For any equipment, parts, or components where the material and/or manufacturer’s advertised minimum warranty exceeds one year, it shall remain in effect until expiration.

2. In the event of a warranty claim for failure of any equipment, material, components during the warranty period, the Contractor will be notified by the Contracting Officer and shall furnish new replacement parts, equipment, and/or components in a reasonable time frame to be agreed upon between the contracting officer and the contractor and shall be at no additional cost to the US Army Corps of Engineers.

SW-6 Delivery of Equipment

1. The contractor shall deliver all 6 pumps to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Light Capacity Fleet located at 1180 Cinder Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138.

2. Contractor/vendor will provide the LCF Chief a minimum of 24-hour notice prior to delivery. Unloading from the contractor’s transport will be performed by USACE personnel and equipment at delivery location.
