The following have been modified:
STATEMENT OF WORK
SPECIFICATION
14” Vertical Pump
1 GENERAL – Contractor shall supply a 14” vertical pump and accompanying control panel per specifications.
2 SCHEDULE – The contractor shall complete all work on this contract within 30 calendar days of notice of award.
3 SPECIFICATIONS -
The contractor shall provide a 14”, stainless steel submersible vertical pump intended for use in drainage of locks. The pump will be is replacing an existing Flygt CT-3356 model and used for the drainage of locks.
The pump shall be a Flygt CT-3356, or equivalent model, and meet the following performance requirements and specifications:
Flygt CT 3356, 63-820, 495 mm or equivalent Intended for dry vertical installation, T-stand and inlet elbow included Cast iron impeller Drive Unit: 705 8 pole, 135 hp, 460 V, Std motor Cooling jacket for direct media cooling Standard connection housing
Cables Power: 2 x 100ft SUBCAB 4G25 + S(2x0.5) Cable Grip included.
Pilot: 100ft SUBCAB ctrl 12x1.5 Cable Grip included.
Material Shaft: American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 431 Stainless steel 14” inch diameter intake and discharge.
Minimum 460 V, 60Hz, 3Ph, 135 Hp Standard Motor Supervision FLS, leakage detector in junction box
FLS, leakage detector, in stator housing PT-100 in one stator winding PT-100 in lower bearing
Must be able to pump at the following head levels;
At 42 feet of head pump should meet or exceed 6800 gallons per minute (gpm).
At 36 feet of head pump should meet or exceed 7550 gpm.
The contractor shall provide a control panel for the pump that meets the following performance requirements and specifications:
Enclosure Type: National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4X Stainless Steel (72x24x24) Enclosure Mounting: Free Standing Enclosure w/Modified base for mobility Power Requirements: 460 Volt 3 Phase Horsepower: 135HP 173 FLA Station Type: Simplex or equivalent

480V 10,000BTU AC Unit w/Integral T-Stat, Circuit breaker protected 120 Volt fused control transformer 22mm Off-On selector switch, Door mounted 22mm LED VFD Running indicating light, Door mounted 22mm LED VFD Fault indicating light, Door mounted 22mm VFD Fault Reset pushbutton, Door mounted Mini Cas Seal Fail/Thermal relay 22mm LED Seal Fail indicating light, Door mounted 22mm LED Overtemp indicating light, Door mounted Terminals for field connections UL508 Listed for industrial control panels Be able to support the performance requirements for the pump mentioned above Support at least a 10 second ramp up time and reach 100% capacity 200 amp Crouse-Hinds input power plug, or equivalent model 200 amp Crouse-Hinds output plug, or equivalent model, with an interlock system, power on/off capability, and a system that cannot be turned on unless the pump is plugged in.
4 DELIVERY – The contractor is responsible for providing delivery to Louisville Repair Station, 2605 Shippingport Drive, Louisville, KY 40212. Drake Riley at 502- 619-6002 to coordinate delivery.
