APICS Training Requirements

Desired outcome: Training to be provided, exams to be administered and certification to be awarded to WVA employees for CPIM level 1 and CPIM level 2. **Certification awarded on an individual basis only if a passing grade is achieved on certification exams.

Training must be offered during the duty day. Training should be offered during the first two weeks of the month if possible so as to avoid end-of-month conflicts.

Training must run 4 days, Monday through Thursday, to avoid RDO Fridays.

Approximately 34 WVA employees will attend this training, and will be split into two groups of 17 students. Training will occur during alternating weeks for the two groups so not all employees are missing from an area at the same time.

Each group will receive training for Part 1 and Part 2. Each group will take the certification exam for the respective part as closely as possible to the end date of the training for that part.

Exams for each part of the certification will occur with minimal time elapsing between training completion and exam date.

Parts 1 and 2 will run consecutively with minimum time between each part.

Pricing should be all-inclusive – for example, include instructor(s), course delivery, materials, exam fees, certification fees, if applicable.
