Statement of Work Walk in Oven # ECP-04052017, Revision 2
1.0 Scope: This purchase specification is for the procurement of one high-temperature walk in oven, Grieve Corporation B2-1050-E4 or equal, for the purpose of thermal cleaning of parts for the turbine engine.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 The following documents of the issue in effect on the date of invitation for bids a request for proposal form a part of the specification to the extent specified herein.

2.2 Other Publications. The following documents for my part of the specification to extent specified herein. Unless otherwise indicated, the issue in effect on the date of invitation for bids or request for proposals shall apply.

2.3 Order of precedence: in the event of a conflict between the text of this document the references cited herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in this document however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
3.0 Salient Characteristics: oven shall have minimum interior dimensions of 54”w x 72”d x 72”h with an interior capacity of at least 162 ft3. Oven shall be able to safely maintain a temperature of at least 1000°F for 24 hours. Oven shall have a 5 hp blower capable of 7800 CFM. Heat input shall be 100 kW. Floor shall be inflated. Control shall include digital shutdown timer. Oven shall have a digital, microprocessor-based temperature controller. Shall have UL was the control panel. Oven shall have a timer capable of turning oven off, from preset temperature, after indefinite period of time.
3.1 Electrical Requirements: oven shall be configured to operate on three-phase power at 460 V and 60 Hz.
3.2 Electrical Noise. The electrical power at ABACO is subject to noise. If the oven requires clear electrical power for proper operation, a properly sized power-conditioning unit shall be included.
3.3 System of Units. The equipment shall display all units of measure in the U.S. Customary System of Units (first) and be capable of displaying both U.S. Customary System of Units and Scientific Units (second) where applicable.
3.4 Equipment Location. ABECO
3.5 Ergonomics. The equipment shall be ergonomically designed to prevent the occurrence of repetitive stress injuries.
3.6 Warranty: The oven shall be covered by the manufacturer’s standard commercial warranty for this type of equipment and/or shall be extendable up to a period of not less than one year. Warranty shall be written in ABECO’s name. During the warranty period, the contractor shall be responsible for the repair of any defects in equipment parts or workmanship. The contractor shall respond on site to request in 30 days to allow for processing of the site pass.
3.7 Nameplate. A nameplate shall be attached to the oven and shall contain, as a minimum, the following information:
a. Nomenclature
b. Manufacturers name
c. Serial number
d. Model designation
e. Power input (bolts, told him peers, face, and frequency)
f. Short-circuit/over current rating
g. Contract number or purchase order number
h. National Stock Number (if applicable)
i. Date of manufacture
3.8 Environmental Compliance: the oven provided under this contract shall meet all applicable Environment PROTECTION Agency (EPA) restrictions in effect on the date of the contract. His relations apply the emission of materials hazardous environment or to the users health and shall be adhered to during the manufacturer, service, transportation, storage and operation the oven.
3.8.1 Notification of USG visits/correspondence: Contractor shall immediately notify the COR of the arrival on site of any Federal, State, and/or DOD environmental regulator or enforcement agent and/or the receipt of any correspondence from a Federal were State Environment Agency.
3.8.2 Recovered materials: The offer/contractors Inc. Hershey’s recovered materials to the maximum extent possible in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the caps on federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
3.8.3 Compliance with Inspections: Contractor shall submit to potential Federal, State, Army and installation work site environmental regulatory inspections and/or investigations into noncompliance, and fully cooperate with such inspections/investigations by providing the appropriate records and documentation. Environmental regulatory agencies are authorized by law to inspect any work site for environmental compliance with regulatory requirements. If an inspection is conducted, it will not stop or disrupt ongoing contract activities. The inspection will only require the work site environmental officer, or supervisor/manager to answer questions and/or escort the inspector to specific work site areas with the potential to affect environmental quality.
3.8.4 Reporting Noncompliance: Contractor shall immediately report any nonconformance and/or noncompliance with applicable Federal, State or Local environmental laws, Army and installation environmental regulations or policies to the COR.
4.0 Acceptance Testing & Verification
4.1 Conformance. The oven shall meet the requirements of the specification and conform to the manufacturers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to comment anytime during the contract period; require proof of such conformance or to inspect the oven to determine compliance with the requirements of this specification.
4.2 Calibration. Supplier shall calibrate machine to the latest standards. Supplier shall provide ABECO with a calibration procedure for oven.
5.0 Delivery. The contractor shall complete the delivery of all equipment and acceptance made within ninety (90) calendar days after award of contract.
6.0 Documentation. The contractor shall provide documentation the Government is listed below. One printed copy each of the following technical data shall be provided as specified in the attached DD Form 1423 with the oven. The contractor shall also provide three CDs that each contain copies of the delivered documentation.
6.1 Content. The manual shall include electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, as applicable; parts lists, troubleshooting procedures, preventative maintenance requirements, lubrication schedules, calibration procedures, etc. Catalogs shall only describe optional tooling, fixtures, and attachments available for the equipment furnished. In addition, any other technical data normally furnished with equipment shall be provided. All technical data shall be furnished in the English language and be IEW with the following data item descriptors (DIDs).
