SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

The following have been added by full text:

RFQ QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question 1. (Pages 3-5) In Line Items 0001 through 4002, can you clarify what you mean by a UOM of 1 Job? The testing is sold by kits and pricing is based on either capital/supply or a reagent rental agreement.

Response 1-The job is everything (equipment, service, reagents, calibrators, QC material etc.) required to perform the testing listed in the statement of work. It would not be possible to list each item individually without knowing which vendor would win the award.

Question 2. On Page 31, Table 3 (CT/GC/TV) Platform, Assay & Consumables Minimum Requirements, the 5th requirement states 'controls and calibrators with standard 24 hour requirement.' Can you clarify if this means assays must be approved with controls and calibrators required only once every 24 hours -not with each batch?

Response 2-That is correct. QC material should cover an entire day rather than a single batch.

Question 3. On Page 31, Table 3, 7th requirement on the table states that 'be able to process multiple samples as they come in. Can you clarify if this means continuous loading capabilities is required?

Response 3. Yes, the analyzer should accept new specimens as it is processing those already loaded.

Question 4. On Page 31, Table 3, the 8th requirement states 'Quick result turnaround time of 2 hours or less.' Can you clarify if the means quick results turnaround time of less than 2 hours for all results after the initial one? The CURRENT system (and the system being used for most all DOD and PH CT/NG testing), provides first results in 3.5hrs and 5 results are released every 5 minutes thereafter.

Response 4-3.5 hours is acceptable.

Question 5. On Page 31, Table 3; 9th requirement on the table states 'be capable of loading/unloading samples as testing is being performed.' Can you clarify if this means the platform must have both the ability to continuously load samples as needed (no batching) as well as unload samples before the results for that sample have been released?

Response 5.-The analyzer needs to accept additional specimens while it is running, but it does not need the capability to unload specimens that have not been resulted.
