1 What is the anticipated timeline for delivery of the units? 90 days ADC

We anticipate the solicitation to be Brand Name or Equal. If offering Equal, should washers and dryers be of the same brand name and by the same manufacturer?

No, a particular brand name is not required. Equivalent products shall be proposed IAW 52.211‐6 ‐ Brand Name or Equal.

Should washer and dryer be stackable? Is stacking kit required or optional?

Yes it must be stackable. No, a stacking kit is not required.

Brand name models are 7kg capacity. Is this the minimum capacity?

What is the maximum capacity?

7kg is the minimum capacity. The max capacity is 8 kg.

Are there maximum acceptable dimensions for both washer and dryer? There are only requirements related to the dimensions for the dryer, as the units must be stackable. Refer to the solicitation for the requirements.

Brand name dryer has a plastic non‐transparent door. Will this be the requirement, are both non‐transparent and transparent doors acceptable, or is preference for a see‐through transparent door?

Both non‐transparent and transparent doors are acceptable

Brand name washer has a max. RPM of 1390. Will 1400 RPM be the requirement?

The RPM requirements are stated in the solicitation.

8 Should both models carry CE approval? Yes

Will the vendor be responsible for the removal of washer and dryers at the various 409th Billeting locations where the new washers and dryers will be installed?

No, the vendor is not responsible for the removal of washers and dryers.

Will the awarded vendor be responsible for the installation of new equipment?

No, the vendor is not responsible for installation of new equipment.

Will the vendor’s contracted installers require any base pass? Or security clearance to work at billets?

The vendor is not responsible for installing equipment.

How long will the vendor installers have to complete all aspects of the subject washer dryer install?

The vendor is not responsible for installing equipment.

Will vendor be required to recycle and remove existing equipment at each billet location?

The vendor is not responsible for removing existing equipment.
