SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE (SF 30)

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDMENT 0003

The purpose for this Amendment is the following:

1. To answer the following contractor questions:

Q1 - What is the Lead Based Paint "Scope of Work"? Is it the client's intent to have all Lead Base Paint removed from the entire work area?

A1 - No, the Governments intent is not to have all of the lead based paint abated. However, loose lead based paint shall be mitigated per plans and specification. See updated Attachment 0003, Plans, Sheet H101 to show square footage of lead based paint.

Q2 - Is it the client's intent to have all Lead Based Paint hazards mitigated where the loose paint is scraped and the mitigated surface encapsulated?

A2 - The contractor shall prepare and paint surfaces in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Some surfaces receiving new paint, may require selective removal by scraping of loose Lead based paint. Removal of lead based paint shall be done in accordance with specifications; see Specification Section 02 83 13.00 20 LEAD IN CONSTRUCTION. Where loose lead based paint surfaces have been scraped, a surface encapsulate, such as Lead Blok, is not required.

Q3 - Is it the intent of sheet H-101 simply to notify the painters that Lead Based Paint exists?

A3 - Attachment 0003, Plans, Sheet H-101 has been revised showing square footage of lead based painting.

Q4 - If the intent is to have the Hazardous Materials contractor scrape loose Lead Based Paint, is there an opportunity to review site conditions?

A4 - A site visit was conducted on 27 Mar 2019.

Q5 - Is there painting work being done on the historic masonry? If so, what locations

A5 - Yes, painting is required on historic masonry surfaces. Attachment 0003, Plans, Sheet H-101 indicates locations of lead based paint and other sheets detail the extent of the painting requirements.

Q6. - Please provide the proposed concrete finish grades for the new concrete foundation walls and ramps, including but not limited to the following:

. Top of the concrete wall at all the proposed corners . Top of the concrete at each concrete landing . Finish grades at the existing sidewalks

A6 - Finish grades are not available. The elevation change from the top of the entrance landing to the edge of the existing sidewalk is approximately 4'-5". The current design accounts for the elevation change with enough of a buffer to allow for slight variances in the site.

Q7 - Please provide the slab detail for the picnic slab. Keynote added to C-101 to indicate the picnic slab exists.

A7 - Picnic Slab is existing. Note added to Attachment 0003, Plans, sheet C-101 indicating slab is existing.

Q8 - Please define and clarify what type of Ashlar Stone Pattern that will be required to meet the intent of the project requirements, we are requesting this information due to the large fluctuation in pricing between the different styles and colors.

A8 - 3. See Attachment 0003, Plans, sheet C-101. Notes added to sheet.

Q9 - Please provide what the requirement of the concrete compressive strength is required to meet the intent of the project requirements.

Q11 - Please provide a complete set of as built drawings on all work that is be requested under and within the solicitation.

A11 - A complete set of as built drawings does not exist.

Q12 - Please reference Sheet A-101, this indicates that this project has a phasing requirement that is required for this project. Please define the limits and sequence of each phasing. Please provide if the Phases can occur concurrently or if they have to be sequential.

A12 - See Attachment 0003, Plans, sheet notes added to A-101. The phases need to occur sequentially. It does not matter how long each phase takes individually, as long as the entire project is completed within 200 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Q13 - Will government personnel or activities be allowed to occur in any of the 3 project phased areas during this project duration? If activities will occur please define those activities and the durations for those activities.

Will government personnel or activities occur in the adjacent areas of the required phases during this project duration and if so please define what areas and durations?

A13 - See Attachment 0003, Plans, sheet notes added to A-101.

Q14 - When providing work in Phased areas, will the contractor be required to provide dust control and temporary partitions around and between each of the 3 phases?

A14 - See Attachment 0003, Plans, sheet notes added to A-101.

Q15 - Sheet 102, Note 1 refers to Room 101 and states to demolish the existing poured polyurethane sports floor and replace with a new 11MM thick polyurethane sports floor. Please provide details, as-built drawings, specification and product data for the existing product.
