Question & Answer

Q1: Moving of the old line and the new line will require pallet jacks or a forklift. Is the government providing those or do we need to price in rentals for that equipment?
A1: A forklift is recommended and will not be provided by the Government.
Q2: How far away is the new unit from the NDI lab bldg. 74, how far does the old unit have to moved?
A2: Both units will be moved a minimum of 500 ft. and a maximum of 1,000 ft.
Q3: What if existing government utilities are not in proper working order, are not correct in size or amperage?
A3: The Government has already confirmed that the current utilities match. The electrical required is the same as our current system, water pressure and air psi are sufficient. In the event the contractor discovers that there is a utility that is not in proper working order, the contractor shall immediately stop work and notify both the Government Point of Contact and the Contracting Office.
