Changes/ Amendments to confirm:

1. Amendment based on new findings: will the Roll up door will be replaced with new overhead, or new roll up door? ANSWER – due to site conditions, the existing 10’ x 10’ roll-up door will be replaced with a new roll-up door, not a sectional overhead door. The specifications for the new roll-up door can be found in Amendment 1.

2. Amendment Based on discussion: Nose dock door D, to have windows. Minimum 270 square inch of transparent window surface similar to that of the existing door? ANSWER– Nose Dock sectional overhead door should have windows similar in size (within 15%) and location to existing door.

3. Please Confirm: Door B at sprinkler system does not require windows, but no preference should it come with windows. ANSWER – the roll up door to be installed at the fire suppression control room does not require a window but can have a window (similar to existing roll-up door) if no additional cost to the government would be incurred.

4. Please confirm if taxes should be carried in proposals? ANSWER - Federal Government is tax exempt.

5. Please confirm if any state, local, and/or Federal permits will be required on this project? ANSWER –

Permits are not required to perform work on federal installations, but all applicable building codes must be followed. Contractor will present all equipment to be installed, methods of install, and planned schedule of work to the Base Civil Engineer (BCE) prior to ordering of materials, per the

8. Can the Government confirm that the Advantor connections are still operational and only requires re- mounting? ANSWER - The operability of the Advantor system is not within the scope of this project. Contractor shall remove and reinstall existing associated sensors/equipment as required to provide a fully functional door system to meet the intent of the PWS,

9. Can the Government confirm that an Advantor technician from Florida is not required to return for service? ANSWER -The operability of the Advantor system is not within the scope of this project.
