About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for a deployment enhancement kit for the Minnesota Air National Guard. The kit would include a Klas Voyager Virtual Machine with Intel Xeon processors and 1.92 terabytes of solid state drive storage. The virtual machine aims to enable mobile operations through local network storage and integration with existing Klas communication field equipment. It must support both Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware and allow for efficient configuration, training, and mutual support between Guard units. The kit is intended to provide classified and unclassified network connectivity in remote locations utilizing cellular or wired commercial networks. All materials are warranted to comply with standards and include a one year expanded hardware warranty with 24/7 technical support. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Army National Guard for an assured services local area network.

| 2. Project Location: | 133d Airlift Wing |
| Minnesota Air National Guard Base | |
| 610 Militia Dr. Saint Paul, MN 55111-4112 |
3. General Scope:
A. Klas Voyager Virtualization Machine (VM) is a highly advanced and sophisticated virtual machine that comes with a range of features that make it an attractive choice for various computing needs.
B. Enable the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) concept of mobile operations by providing local network storage.
C. High Performance: Klas Voyager VM is designed to provide high-performance computing capabilities. It uses the latest Intel Xeon processors, which are optimized for virtualization. This means that you can run resource-intensive applications with ease, without compromising on performance.
D. Scalability: Klas Voyager VM is highly scalable, which means you can easily increase or decrease the resources allocated to your virtual machine as per your changing business needs. This allows you to run your applications with optimal performance and avoid any potential bottlenecks.
E. Security: Klas Voyager VM uses a range of security measures to ensure that your data is safe and secure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and anti-virus software. This means that your critical data is protected against all types of threats.
F. Easy Management: Klas Voyager VM comes with an easy-to-use management interface that enables you to manage your virtual machine efficiently. You can easily configure and deploy your virtual machine, monitor its performance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
G. The Klas Voyager VM would integrate with the current Klas equipment in the Communication Field Equipment (CFK).
4. Detailed Requirements:
A. REMOVABLE STORAGE KLAS Voyager Virtual Machine
1. Voyager VM
a. KLAS-VOY-VM16X-96GB-R1: 1 Each
b. KLAS-VOY-1.92TB-SSD: 2 Each
c. KlasKare: 1 Year service and hardware coverage
B. Equipment must be on DISA DoDIN Approved Products List: https://aplits.disa.mil/processAPList.action C. Contractor must demonstrate how all components interface and will work together. Be sure to submit/attach enough additional information to enable the Government to fully ascertain the specifications/capabilities of any products quoted. The Contractor must demonstrate proven functionality.
D. New equipment ONLY; No remanufactured or “gray market” items.
5. Characteristics and Capabilities:
A. We currently have a Communication Field Kit (CFK) with Klas branded equipment. Based around Intel’s Xeon D architecture, it is designed from the outset to provide the maximum performance, therefore the new deployment enhancement virtual machine kit must:
1. Be able to integrate with our current Klas branded CFK equipment.
2. Be compatible with the Voyager chassis and accessories, V1+, V2+, V4/V4S, V6, V8QP and V8+.
3. Allow applications built for the data center to migrate to the edge of the network.
4. Support Microsoft Hyper-V and is VMware Ready.
B. Peer MN Air National Guard organization is currently operating 2 Klas branded deployable communication platforms, therefore the new deployment enhancement kit must:
1. Allow efficiency in configuration and training, troubleshooting and mutual support.
2. Enable inter-agency mission execution and personnel support with little overhead training time or equipping.
C. Kit contains worldwide deployable communication equipment that provides both unclassified and classified data over multiple transmission paths to include built in cellular, or Ethernet connection to public internet.
D. Providing local network storage, classified and unclassified data connectivity in remote locations. The targeted solution will utilize cellular or hardwired commercial networks to reach into SIPR and NIPR solutions through DISA's gateway services.
6. Warranty:
A. All materials shall be warranted to be in compliance with this statement of work and to the highest standards of the industry.
