Construct MAFFS Infrastructure, Solicitation W50S75-20-B-0002 Questions and Answers

QUESTION ANSWER

1. In the revised drawings the 800A switch has been changed to a switch board with transfer switch. My questions is weather the transfer switch is supposed to have any sensors or controls such as

Voltage sensing and meters Amperage meters Phase sensing and indicators Rotation sensing and indicators Alarms These items are highly recommended for a portable generator connection, so many things can go very bad if the wrong voltage, or rotation are connected.

Refer to specifications outlined in section 26 23 00, specifically 3.3.2

2. Does the project run under the EM-385 Safety standards?

No. This safety standard manual applies to Headquarters, US Army Corp of Engineers (HQUSACE). Not applicable to this organization.
