W50S6S23Q0006 – Secondary Spill Containment Pads Q&A Q1. When quoting only in feet, should we round up?
A. Yes. When quoting only in feet…
1. The overall length of containment pad #1 shall be at a minimum of 68 feet long from the original 67 feet 4 inches.
2. The overall length of containment pad #2 shall be at a minimum of 40 feet long from the original 39 feet 8 inches.
Q2. In the past your base has indicated they want both pull-through and drop with ramps on both sides (for use with tugs). And, ramps on only one side for pulling in/backing out. Can you clarify?
A. The smaller pad will be located at our AGE shop up against the perimeter fence, so access to only one side will suffice.
Q3. Would you be interested in 12”up/12”down ramps at 2”HIGH?
A. Yes. If a 2" wall will comply with regulations, then it would be beneficial to have a smaller ramp to alleviate premature wear to our unit's suspension components.
