Professional Role Player Services

CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF STATUS AGREEMENT

FOR UNITED STATES CAPITOL POLICE

Confidentiality Restrictions:

I, , hereby acknowledge and agree that as part of my responsibilities and duties as a Contractor to the USCP, I may review documents/information that are considered to be law enforcement sensitive and/or related to congressional security. I understand that due to the security sensitive nature of such documents/information, I agree not to disclose documents/information or the substance of such documents/information to any person or entity except as necessary for the sole purpose of performing the duties and responsibility arising from the scope of services of the Contract with the USCP. I further understand that any disclosure or use of security sensitive documents/information will be considered a material breach of Contract and may subject me to applicable sanctions as provided by equity, law or regulation.

I understand that I am prohibited from issuing any news releases, or holding any press conferences concerning this Contract and that this prohibition extends to discussion of this Contract, and work performed under it, in speeches, professional seminars and classroom lectures. I will not make any reference to it in any writing, websites or internet postings.

I understand that this agreement is permanent and I can only be released from its terms by a written authorization from the USCP Contracting Officer.

Contractor Status:

As a Contractor employee or Subcontractor working in a USCP facility I understand that:

a. I shall conduct only such business as covered by this Contract during periods paid by the USCP.

b. Business not directly related to this Contract shall not be conducted on USCP premises.

c. Use of the USCP computer system(s) and/or equipment for company or personal use (other than that directly connected with this Contract) is strictly prohibited.

d. I am expected to adhere to the same professional ethical standards to which USCP personnel in a comparable position would be expected to adhere.

e. I will keep accurate records of my time worked on this project and provide them to my company representative.

f. For emergency preparedness purposes, I may be required to sign in and out at my work location.

g. I am personally responsible for the safe return of my USCP badge to my employer upon the completion of my work at the USCP or the termination of my employment. I

h. I understand and acknowledge that the Contract between the USCP and my employer requires the return of my USCP badge before I receive my final paycheck.

i. As a Contractor employee or subcontractor, I will not benefit from special holidays and reduced hours granted by the Federal government for Federal employees. If I avail myself of the time off granted during this period, the USCP will not be billed for that time.

j. I understand and acknowledge that during the performance of this Contract, I am an employee or subcontractor of the Contractor awarded Contract. At no time will I be considered an employee or agent of the USCP.

k. I acknowledge that since I am not an employee of the USCP for any purpose, the USCP is not responsible to train, assign, pay, provide benefits and leave to, or, as necessary, address performance problems, discipline or terminate me.

l. I further acknowledge that although I may, at times, receive direction from a USCP employee in my performance of work under this Contract to perform a specific service or task, and that a USCP employee may have the right to reject the finished product or result, this action shall not be construed as the type of supervision or control that converts an individual who is an independent Contractor or contractor employee into a government employee.

m. I acknowledge that I have no right to avail myself of any of the processes or protections provided by the Congressional Accountability Act or the USCP Policies and Procedures.
