TruLink Wireless JPADS Kits Replenishment

Joint Base Charleston, SC

1. General Overview

1.1. The 437th OG/OGS requires 10 each TruLink Wireless Intercommunication System Joint Precision Air Drop System (JPADS) kits *Brand Name/Part number 780-0090-001* to replace broken / out dated kits.

2. Specification At a minimum, the equipment shall possess the following specifications:

2.1. Can operate as a stand-alone system or as a wireless extension to an existing intercommunications system (ICS)

2.2. Operating time: 8 hours

2.3. Frequency: 2.4 GHz

2.4. Range: up to 2,500 ft. (line-of-sight)

2.5. Operating temperatures: -40 c to 55 c

2.6. Number of channels: 100

2.7. Number of users per channel: 31 (6 simultaneous speakers)

2.8. MIL-STD-810F: Environmental Engineering and Laboratory Test

2.9. MIL-STD-704A: Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics

2.10. MIL-STD-464: Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Requirements

2.11. MIL-STD-461E: Control of Electromagnetic interference, Characteristics of Subsystems of

Equipment

2.12. Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO approved)

3. Kits Each kit must include

3.1. One Dual Port Transceiver (DPT) Master Radio

3.2. One DPT Headset Cable

3.3. One Platform Interface Cable (PIC) to plug into the respective aircraft

3.4. Four Pouches for the TPT Radios to affix to the uniform

(above equipment must be contained in a pelican case)

3.5. Four TPT Slave radios
