Questions Raised

1.) Is this contract to bring new equipment to the end user and replace equipment that is on a contract that will expire soon?

This will be for a new equipment. There is currently no equipment on contract.

2.) If so, what is the contract number and who is the incumbent?

This is for an equipment that is currently owned by the facility. There is no incumbent contractor.

3.) Is there a brand preference on the equipment type?

No brand preference this is a full and open competition.

4.) Is the offer price to include AZ Transaction Privilege Tax?

No, it does not as a federal facility Kayenta Health Center is tax exempt.

5.) Would it be possible to get additional clarification on testing platform?

We are a smaller facility, looking for a tabletop analyzer, relatively compact. Footprint, including computer, would be no more than 3 ft wide by 4 ft long by 3 ft high. Test setup should be fairly short <15 minutes. Random access instrument/no batching. Ideally has PCR based assays that would use panels to identify pathogens in respiratory, gastrointestinal, blood, and CSF samples. These panels would be looking for 10-20 of the most common pathogens in a single assay for a single patient.

Respiratory Panel must have SARS-COV2 capability. Ideally, run time for these panels would range from 45 minutes to 2 hours so patients could receive results while still at the facility (understand this can be difficult with PCR based assays.

6.) Are you looking for a qPCR- or NGS-based testing platform?

qPCR
