PURCHASE DESCRIPTION

Wideband Telemetry Data Recorder Sub-System

1. INTRODUCTION

2. BACKGROUND

The NSWC Corona Division Telemetry Systems Branch (PA44) facility at Corona has a requirement to support the missile testing for RDT&E projects at various missile test ranges beginning immediately. In order to meet this requirement, NSWC

Corona Division, Performance Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires the

Telemetry Data Recorder System listed in the specifications to be fully integrated by

August 1 in our RDTS-TDPS telemetry systems. The items listed in this Purchase

Description are hard requirements in order to successfully execute the missions on the schedule for this project.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance

Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires one Telemetry Data Recorder used in the RECEIVING & DISTRIBUTION TELEMETRY SYSTEM –TELEMETRY

DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM (RDTS/TDPS-C/U) in support of missile testing for various RDT&E projects. Telemetry Data Recorder Systems are an integral component of our land based RECEIVING & DISTRIBUTION TELEMETRY

SYSTEM –TELEMETRY DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM (RDTS-TDPS). The

Telemetry Data Recorder system will be used to record multiple telemetry streams during complex missile testing exercises. Telemetry Data recordings are essential for post mission analysis for it is used in the performance and readiness assessment of

Fleet combat systems during these exercises.

3. REQUIREMENTS

The technical specifications listed below must be met.

Recorder

WARRANTY: Items include two (2) year hardware warranty and lifetime software support. Additionally, all items include technical support and software/firmware upgrades at no charge for the life of the system.

DELIVERY: Items must be delivered within 90 days of order submission, please specify ARO on offer for evaluation.

*Only new items are acceptable; grey market, used, or refurbished items will not be accepted.
