About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA Langley Research Center's requirement for a replacement Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) for the Durability Damage Tolerance and Reliability Branch (DDTRB). The specific requirement is for an MTS Model 525.303 HPU with configuration 525.303R3B480SC4D1, featuring a 300 Series pump (90 GPM/300 LPM), three swashplate modules, right-hand orientation, 20.7 MPa system pressure, 480V three-phase power, and 225 amp capacity. The replacement is critical for ongoing testing equipment operations, with key requirements including interchangeability with existing equipment, seamless connection to current facility systems, and minimal operational downtime.

The contract specifies delivery to NASA Langley Research Center at 4 S Marvin St, Hampton, VA 23681, with the final use location in Building 1205, Room 127A. The period of performance is 95 days after receipt of order (ARO), and the hydraulic oil for the system will be supplied locally by MTS. The replacement pump is essential for meeting NASA program milestones and supporting the research directorate's testing capabilities in the structures and materials laboratories.
