About this file
This Statement of Work details NASA's requirement to establish a dedicated 1 Gbps Wide Area Network (WAN) connection between the NASA White Sands Complex in Las Cruces, NM and an Amazon Web Services point of presence in Dallas, TX. The service provider must maintain 99.99% uptime, implement AES-256 encryption for data in transit, and meet specific technical requirements including <20ms latency, <0.1% packet loss, and <5ms jitter.
The contract has a 3-year initial term with implementation required within 14 weeks of award. Key deliverables include all necessary hardware/software infrastructure, 24/7 technical support, real-time monitoring dashboards, monthly performance reports, and quarterly service reviews. The service provider must meet strict SLA requirements including 15-minute response time and 4-hour repair time, while complying with all NASA policies and federal cybersecurity regulations. The implementation timeline consists of a 2-week kickoff, 4-week design phase, and 8-week implementation/testing phase before go-live.
