About this file
This document appears to be a Statement of Work (SOW) for a specialized laser modification project. Arete is being requested to modify their AIRTRAC laser (Part Number NLRC701064AMIDSP) for operation in vacuum and zero-gravity environments, with the goal of qualifying the laser for spaceflight applications. The modification requires maintaining identical performance specifications to the standard AIRTRAC laser and ensuring compatibility with Arete's standard electronic driver/controller.
The deliverables will include a complete laser system with comprehensive documentation, specifically operational manuals, mechanical and electrical interface documents, and relevant test results. The project has a delivery timeline of 36 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). The laser head modification represents a significant development step toward creating a spaceflight-qualified laser system, with the core requirement being performance and operational consistency with the existing AIRTRAC laser design.
