SUBJECT: CNC Turning Centers

DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a sole source contract for a quantity of two (2) two (2) DMG MORI NLX 2000MC 500, C-Axis Turning Centers. The CNC Turning Centers are manufactured by DMG Mori USA, Inc. CAGE 5FPN0, and the solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion requested in 120 days ARO. Alternate offers will not be accepted.

Request for Quote SPE4A8-21-Q-0006 (previously SPE4A8-20-Q-0086) is sole source contract for a quantity of two (2) NLX 2000MC 500, C-Axis Turning Centers, FSC 3416, Other Than Full and Open Competition. FOB will be at Destination with preliminary inspection at Origin and final inspection and acceptance at Destination.

The solicitation will be issued and evaluation performed utilizing criteria set forth in the solicitation.

The solicitation will issue on or about November 12, 2020.

A copy of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the agency. Proposals must be submitted to: DLA AVIATION RICHMOND, ATTN: DSCR-VICA/JAMIE SUMME, BLDG 32 “L” BAY, 8000 JEFFERSON DAVIS HIGHWAY, RICHMOND, VA 23297-5166 no later than the close of business E.S.T. listed as the closing response date listed on page one (1). All proposals received after the closing date listed will be considered “late” and will not be considered for award.
