STATEMENT OF WORK – Flo-Tron, Inc

1. Objective/Requirements

The DAVINCI-Descent Sphere (DS) when fully populated with the four (4) major instruments, the mechanical primary structure (PS), the avionics and thermal subsystems will weigh approx. 285 kgs and have a dimension of approx. 30”-31” in diameter. In order to assemble and test this system, turn-over-dollies will be used throughout the program to achieve the objective of a fully functional and complete DS. The turn-over-dollies will allow the engineers and technicians to position and rotate the DS to meet the objectives of the DAVINCI Integration and Test (I&T) program. The dolly provider, i.e. Flo-Tron, Inc., will provide these dolly systems to achieve a fully functional and flight ready DS probe

Without these turn-over dollies, the needed work to build the primary structure, integrate the DS instruments, and test the DS subsystem, would be impracticable.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

The contractor shall produce two (2) 8123-600 Turn-Over Dollies and three (3) 20407-1- BL154-CN Main Beams for the DAVINCI / I&T Segment
