STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements A NASA flight project, X-ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission (XRISM) will be performing a ground calibration of its X-ray optics at the GSFC 100-m X-ray beamline. This calibration requires an X-ray CCD camera, which is already there at the beamline and being used. The X-ray CCD camera is very complicated and delicate equipment. If the CCD camera fails, we would need to send it to the manufacturer for repair (we will not be able to fix it by ourselves), which could take one months or two. This already happened twice in the past, and the repair took more than one month. The ground calibration work is critical path. We cannot afford more than one month downtime. Thus the project requires a backup CCD camera, which has to be identical to the existing camera, because the control software is our custom made one and it took more than a year to develop the software. In order to minimize schedule impact, the identical camera needs to be purchased.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

Required X-ray CCD camera:

Teledyne Princeton Instruments MT3-2048B-152 and its accessories (cables etc)

3. Place of Performance Deliver to NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD

4. Period of Performance Lead time shall be about three months
